This blue on cream 1988 Sea Ray Sorrento is 24 foot of fun and a great way to enjoy the Summer weather.  The cuddy cabin is great for a weekend overnighter for two.  A wash sink and Sani Potti make staying out for a night on the water with your sweet heart a great Summer memory.  The captain's seat and first mate's seat were upgraded to late-model (flip bolster style) seats from a 2015 Sea Ray SLX and provide great comfort for cruising or just sipping cocktails.  The second row seat has ample storage below and gives way to a very generous flip up sun pad.  Beneath the sun pad is more storage and the all important Big Block 454 Mercruiser V8.  This boat left the factory with a six cylinder but was upgraded to a big block in 2013 by the folks at PW Marine.  At the same time, the out drive was swapped from Mercruiser Alpha to Bravo to handle the additional power.  2013 also marked the timeframe for the multispeaker stereo upgrade.   Thanks to the 454, the four blade aluminum prop will shove you to 39 GPS miles an hour.  This boat will pop six grown adults up on plane faster than you can get out of your bath tub.   The extended height red bimini top allows you to walk around standing up and pass through the flip open windscreen with out bumping your head.  This boat is 35 years old and is in amazing condition for its age.  The gel coat shines nicely.  The hull, transom, and mounts are tip top shape (see pictures with engine out).  The bottom paint was just done this spring.  And the drive train maintenance has all just been completed.  The lower unit of the Bravo and the Big Block were removed  in May of 2023 for service.  The ring gear was replaced and oil pan re-sealed.  The ignition system got new plugs, wires cap and rotor.  The gimbal bearing was changed at the same time both bellows were replaced.  The tab indicators and tab harness are also new.  The trim hydraulic system got 4 new lines and a new manifold.  Both left and right lift cylinders were upgraded to XD units.  The bilge was cleaned while the engine was out and a new bilge pump installed.  The impeller and seals were changed and the lower unite and hull painted.  The blower vent tubing, batteries, and filters also were replaced.  The sale of this Sea Ray includes a Herritage two axle trailer.  Also included is a $1200 custom boat cover made by PW Marine.  This is a lot of boat for the money.  All you will need to enjoy this fun boat is a two inch ball on your truck.  Call Dave at 434-983-1656 to take a look.
