When the CTSV hit the market in 2004 it set it sights on knocking the BMW M5 off its throne. This silver 2005 CTSV is a fine example of a vehicle who's design theme included dethroning the reigning czar and benefits additionally from tasteful upgrades to boot. The LS6 5.7 V8 provides a more than ample 400 hp and the Tremec T56 manual manages the six forward ratios. 14 inch rotors with Brembo 4 piston calipers do the stopping. This car is a hoot to drive. The factory suspension has been upgraded with performance lowering springs. The exhaust has been up graded for a throaty rumble as well. Evo Motorsports provided the goodies to upgrade the clutch master, slave and flywheel. B&M short shift kit with Hurst shifter shortens the throws. Recent maintenance includes motor mounts, diff bushings, a radiator, pulleys and belts. This car runs, sounds, and feels great. The tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sport 295/30/19's in the rear and 255/35/19's in the front. They hug the road and are benefitted by the lightweight aftermarket rims with a fresh powder coat job.
