The white on top and blue on the bottom color scheme catches your eye when you walk up to this 1941 Hudson Coupe. This California car is so incredibly solid and rust free you can tell this Hudson was loved by its previous owners. While the current paint job is starting to fail, the sheet metal is super sound from top to bottom. This Coupe was treated to a GM 454 big block conversion. The trans was updated as well to a TH 700 R4 auto trans. A wide front brake shoe conversion from a 1951 Hudson was installed to help improve stopping. This front brake conversion features 1.125 inch diameter wheel cylinders that were just refreshed and 2.5 inch wide drums in the front. The rear 3rd member is a 10 bolt Dana 44 with 2.5 inch wide drums and 7/8 wheel cylinders which were rebuilt. This 1941 Hudson failed Virginia State Inspection. The tires have a date code of 2012 and are worn. Both front brake shoe adjusters do not function and the left front link pin is worn. Additionally, the left quarter glass and right door glass have cracks. All together this 82 year old Coupe is in amazing shape. It runs, drives and shifts nicely and once a few little tweaks get this old girl through inspection the new owner will have a solid ride for decades to come. It is rare to see a prewar car in this condition. Call Dave to make arrangements to see her run at 434-983-1656.
